WE UNSEATED AN INCUMBENT SUPERVISOR FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 20 YEARS

We endorsed Joel Engardio for District 4 Supervisor in our November 2022 Voter Guide, and our movement mobilized to get him elected. Engardio won by fewer than 500 votes, proving the necessity of our work.

WE FORCED ELECTED OFFICIALS TO CONFRONT THE FENTANYL EPIDEMIC

We created the That’s Fentalife! ad campaign to end SF’s drug crisis. Residents sent 57,000 letters to City Hall, and all of our proposed solutions received city funding. City policy now focuses on treatment and enforcing existing laws.

WE ELECT OFFICIALS WHO MAKE PUBLIC SAFETY A PRIORITY

Working with community groups impacted by rising crime, we elected public safety-focused candidates District Attorney Brooke Jenkins, Supervisor Matt Dorsey, and Supervisor Joel Engardio.

WE’RE LEADING THE WAY ON STRUCTURAL REFORM

TogetherSF commissioned an independent report from the Rose Institute that analyzes San Francisco’s governmental structure. We are working with policy makers on fixing these structural problems.

A Closer Look At Our Work

WATCH THE WHY SF IS BROKEN (AND HOW TO FIX IT) WEBINAR

This free, game show-style webinar covers the key problems (and solutions!) we’re targeting for reform. You’ll get a clear understanding of how you can help fight for San Francisco’s future—in just 15 minutes.

COMMISSION REFORM

In 2024, TogetherSF Action sponsored Proposition D, a ballot measure that would have streamlined San Francisco’s commission system. While Prop D didn’t pass, it was instrumental in changing the conversation around commission reform in San Francisco.
